Polish Hill, Pittsburgh's Most Vertical Neighborhood
Polish Hill is a smal neighborhood nestled on the steep hillside between the Hill District and the Strip District. Minutes away from the activity of downtown Pittsburgh, our front porches and doorsteps line quiet residential streets. Polish Hill boasts some of the best views from our hill tops. At one time a mostly Polish neighborhood, now Polish Hill has a diverse population, whose members range in age from one to one hundred.
Polish Hill is also the home of the West Penn Recreation Center, with basketball courts, weight rooms, outdoor swimming pool and, of course, West Penn field, which boasts a skate board park, complete with ramps and a bowl.
